ISEYIN – Commercial activities got a boost on Tuesday in Iseyin, Oyo State, as the Batch ‘B” members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) resumed camp for the three-week long orientation course.
There was an increase in human and vehicular movement, resulting in a traffic snarl in Oluwole area of the town.
Private and commercial vehicles were also sighted heading toward the newly constructed NYSC permanent orientation camp located at Ogbakuta on the Iseyin-Okeho road.
NAN also reports that while some corps members arrived on Monday night, others began trooping in as early 8. a. m. on Tuesday when the camp officially opened.

A NAN correspondent, who visited the camp, reports that there was tight security in and around the venue of the exercise.
Military personnel were also seen conducting a thorough search while a police anti-bomb unit was combing vehicles.
The spokesman of the NYSC in the state, Mr Simeone Bankole, said all arrangements had been put in place to ensure a hitch-free orientation exercise.
He told NAN that no fewer than 2,700 corps members were being expected at the close of registration on Wednesday. (NAN)
