Abuja (Sundiata Post) – The House of Representatives has called off it national security summit in honour of late Army Chief, 10 others senior military officers who lost their lives in the ill-fated plane crash on Friday.
The summit that was earlier scheduled to hold from Monday, May 24, 2021 will now commence on Wednesday, 26th May 2021.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Clerk, House of Representatives, Chinedu Francis Akubueze on Sunday.
The statement reads:
Sundiata Post recalls that the federal government has directed that the national flag will fly at half mask for two days begining from today. This is also at it has declared Monday (today) public holiday for the military in honour of the Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Ibrahim Attahiru and 10 others who lost their lives in the air mishap that occurred on Friday evening in Kaduna.
