Onitsha (Anambra) -Sen, Stella Oduah, representing Anambra North, has said that no gifted youth in the zone would be left out of her talent hunt project.
Briefing youths about the project at Akili Ozizor in Ogabaru Local Government Area, Oduah, a former aviation minister, said that the project, which would run from July to December, was meant to discover talents and groom them through her Princess Stella Oduah Foundation.
“The Princess Stella Oduah Foundation has been promoting the development of vulnerable children through the provision of conducive social and economic environment for capacity building.
“Some of the foundation’s initiatives include skill acquisition programme, farmers’ micro-finance scheme, women cassava farmers’ initiative and potable water scheme, among others,’’ she said.
Oduah, represented by the Administrative Officer of the foundation, Prince Joe Oduah, urged the youth to register for the programme on-line or to collect the form at the various worship centers in the zone.
She explained that the project would discover talents in music, football, boxing, wrestling, choir and Bible quiz.
“The participants will be drawn from the seven local government areas in Anambra North zone.
“The winners in the music category will be signed to a record label with a multi-million naira deal while the foundation will explore opportunities with different sports academies for the sports talents.
“The foundation will partner with churches, town unions, community leaders, institutions and other stakeholders to ensure the success of the project,’’ she said.
