Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Special Adviser to former president Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to release Shi’a Muslim cleric, Ibrahim Yagoub El Zakzaky and use the N3.5million used to feed him monthly to arm the Nigerian troops.
Reno stated this while reacting to the recent killing of our troops and alleged complaint by soldiers that 70 of their colleagues were killed by Boko Haram early in the week.
He therefore berated Buhari for not having time to comment on the killing of the soldiers by Boko Haram in Metele but have time to attack former President Goodluck Jonathan’s book. Reno said this is so because leadership is not a priority to Buhari-led All Progressives Congress government.
The Special Adviser who said human lives don’t matter to the government that only power matters alleged that propaganda is their focus.
Sundiata Post recalls that no fewer than 44 soldiers were reportedly killed by Boko Haram in Borno State early this week. This unfortunate incident caused the senate to adjourn plenary on Thursday in honour of the fallen heros.
Reno disclosed this when he took to his twitter handle “@renoomokri” thus:
“Soldiers complained that 70 of their colleagues were killed by Boko Haram this week at Metele due to lack of adequate weapons. I appeal to President @MBuhari to release Zakzaky and instead use the ₦3.5 million he uses to feed him monthly to arm our troops properly #RenosDarts
“The @NGRPresident does not have time to comment on the 70 Nigerian troops killed by Boko Haram in Metele, but have time to attack @GEJonathan’s book because leading is not their priority. Propaganda is their focus. Human lives don’t matter, only power matters to them #RenosDarts”
