Abubakar is facing a two-count charge of conspiracy and stealing.
The Prosecutor, ASP Chidi Okoye, said that the offences were committed between Jan. 7 and Jan. 8, at Plot 28, Otunba Yemi Oshikoya Close, Lekki Phase 1.
Okoye said that Abubakar received some stolen items from others who are presently facing trial before the court and being fully aware that they were stolen property.
The items Abubakar received included: two laptops, Ipads, Phones, wristwatches, as well as gold and diamond jewellery, all totalling N70million, being property of one Anthony Onwu.
Okoye said that the offences contravened Sections 326(ii) and 409 of the Criminal law of Lagos State, 2011.
The accused pleaded innocence.
Awogboro granted him bail in the sum of N500, 000 with two sureties in like sum and adjourned the case till June 2 for trial.(NAN).
