…Called on Nigerians not to Celebrate Lynching of Anyone for Holding Different Political Opinion

Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Comrade Senator Shehu Sani has warned Nigerians not to treat peaceful protester with violence for holding different political opinions, stressing that such action will only embolden a militant.
Sani advised that no matter how unpalatable a peaceful protest is, we must not lynch, support or celebrate the lynching of anyone for holding political opinions different from ours.
He gave the advice Wednesday on his twitter handle @shehusani.
Sani said, “No matter how unpalatable, we must not lynch, support or celebrate the lynching of anyone for holding political opinions different from ours. When you treat a peaceful protester with violence, you embolden a militant”
Sundiata Post recalls that the son of late Justice Chukwudife Oputa, Mr. Charles Oputa popularly known as as Charley Boy escaped lynching on Tuesday, August 15, at the populous Wuse Market, Abuja.
Charley Boy is leading a protest group that is calling on President Muhammadu Buhari to resume or resign.
President Muhammadu Buhari left the country on May 7, on medical vacation to treat an undisclosed ailment and the protesters are calling on him to resume or resign due to his long medical vacation.
