Danlami said that the complainant entrusted a Daff truck with registration number XB303-DBZ to the convict for commercial purpose.
He said that after the convict had worked for some weeks and realised N630,000, instead of remitting the money to the complainant as agreed; he absconded with the vehicle and the money.
He said when the convict was called on phone he refused to pick the complainant’s calls.
Danlami said the convict was traced to Mubi in Adamawa where he was arrested.
The prosecutor told the court that the vehicle was recovered from the convict while he has converted the money to his personal use.
He said the offences contravened Sections 312 and 322 of the Penal Code. (NAN)
