Dutse- The All Progressives Congress (APC) Gubernatorial Candidate in Jigawa, Alhaji Muhammad Abubakar, has expressed satisfaction with the peaceful conduct of the Saturday’s Presidential and Senatorial elections in the state.
He expressed the satisfaction in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday in Dutse.
Abubakar specifically applauded the large turnout of voters during the elections across the state, adding that the large turnout of women in particular was encouraging and impressive.
The candidate also applauded the patience and maturity demonstrated by voters in the state in spite of the initial hitches experienced in the conduct of the elections.

He urged voters in the state to come out en masse to exercise their civic duties during the April 11 governorship and state assembly elections.
Abubakar said that the re-scheduling of the House Representatives elections by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the state was to ensure adequate availability of election materials and called on voters in the state to cooperate with INEC in order to ensure a successful election in the state.
