But the FA have come out to clear Lukaku of any charge Manchester United’s £75 million striker is a lucky boy as he seem to have avoided the rot of the football authorities in England after he was caught on camera kicking Gaetan Bong. This incident happened on Saturday, November 25, in Manchester United’s Premier League game against Huddersfield where United won by a solitary goal. The former Everton striker would have been ruled out of the game against Watford and the massive showdowns with Arsenal and Manchester City.
But Lukaku was let off the hook on Monday, meaning he will be free to play in United’s next game against the Hornets. The Belgian who made a blistering start to his Manchester United career have seen his goals dried up lately.
Despite not finding the net against Brighton, his manager Jose Mourinho was full of praise for his striker commending his work ethics.
It had earlier been reported that Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku, could face a three-match suspension for kicking out at Brighton full-back Gaetan Bong. However, he avoided the ban and Manchester United will now have Lukaku available for the busy December schedule in England where they have crunchy games against Arsenal and Manchester City in a week.
