Oyo NASU to build N500m office complex

OGBOMOSO – Chief Jumoke Akinjide, the Minister of State for the , is expected to grace the launching of the N500   office complex of the Non-Academic Staff Union (NASU) of  Schools and Colleges, Oyo State chapter.
Also expected at the forum,  which would mark the maiden edition of the NASU Day,  is a chieftain, Mr ,
Mr Samuel Olaleye, the Chairman of the union in the state,  told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN)  on Tuesday the office complex imperative given the 4, 000 in the state.
He stated the union would also use the forum billed for in Ibadan  to give some items to empower its .
The chairman said items to be distributed under its social scheme were 54 motorcycles, 47 deep freezers  and 25 power generating sets,  500 bundles of iron sheets, four  photocopiers and 10 laptop computers.
He further said the union had  in recent times witnessed tremendous achievements in assets  acquisition.
” We have also ensured that our workers benefit from various programmes and services  such as loans, ” he said. (NAN)
