IBADAN – Members of the Oyo State Executive Council on Tuesday extolled the virtues of the retiring Head of Service, Alhaji Tajudeen Aremu, with many describing him as an astute administrator who added value to the state’s civil service.
They spoke at the valedictory State Executive Council meeting held at the Governor’s Office in Ibadan
Aremu is retiring after serving the state for 35 years.

Presiding at the meeting, the state’s Deputy Governor, Chief Moses Adeyemo, urged members of the council to ensure that they leave behind worthy legacies after public service.
“ You will leave your post but you should be conscious of the legacy you will leave behind,’’ he said.
The state’s Commissioner for Lands, Mr Isaac Omodewu, and an Executive Assistant to the Governor, Dr Morohunkola Thomas, described Aremu as a patriotic citizen of the state who contributed immensely to the success of the Abiola Ajimobi administration.(NAN)
